A Vantage Point - Financial District at sunrise
I’ve been waiting for years for the Financial District to mature and reach a “near completed” state so that I can take a photo of it for posterity.
For this, I needed to scout a vantage viewpoint to allow me to get the shot I want; and finally after years of waiting, now is the time.
Oddly, just when I am about take this photo, and schedule it in; the municipality decided to cordon off the location where I’m to shoot from due to whatever road / constructions they have in mind … and hence the search for another vantage point had to resume all over again; but this time, given that I know where I wanted to get the image from, I had to find an ideal location in the near vicinity.
And thankfully, that wasn’t so hard, just meant that the shot wasn’t taken on the day as planned, but rather on another day altogether.
