A trip to the land of Frogs …

No, not to France!

A location down south of Riyadh, where after a good rain season the frogs conjugate … not sure where they come from, or how come it’s only there they’re present, but they’re there in abundance and worth documenting before their habitat is destroyed by the growth of the city.

Thankfully, the use of the GPS on my camera(s) means that my images all have the coordinates, and hence knowing the location is easy; it’s just that over time the terrain will have changed, as will have the means to get to the destination, which make it a lot more interesting as it adds to the adventure of the trip.

For this trip, I expect to use my big guns, the 300mm and possibly even the teleconverter too, and with that I’ll definitely use the tripod & beanbags …

As for the route, I’ll put up a map screen capture in due course.
