Class & Pedigree ...
Leica M2, was my very first camera given to me by my late father when I was barely 7! It ignited my love for photography, as did his teaching me the science of light & shadows.
I remember all too well when he gave me the camera for the first time, and explained to me what light was and its speed. I was hooked.
Took some amazing shots with it ... until I packed it away.
2013 took it to Leica UK for service, cost me a bit but was glad to have done it.
2014 bought the Voigtlander meter, as I wasn’t sure the Leica meter was still accurate; and being mercury type, I think, I didn’t want to be using it anymore.
Now, the time has come to take it out of mothball and put it to good use.
Father, I hope you’re in a better place now ... and please know that the things you did for us, for me, I will forever cherish. 🥰🥺
