Hair & Hands - Charla
The 2nd take of this concept, this time with Charla.
The first shoot went well, but I had done a number of technical errors which I wanted to sort out by doing the shoot again.
It helps that I know a number of models who have such wonderful long hair … so this 2nd attempt was with Charla.
Again, makeup will be simple, if any. Eyelashes, and nail polish, yes; with the major styling work to be done on the hair to get the shape I want for this concept.
But this time, before doing the hair and makeup, we did a lot of practice runs to ensure that the lights were positioned perfectly … once that was achieved, then we moved to do the hair, the makeup, and finally the outfit.
The photoshoot didn’t take that long in the end, since all the hard work was done pre-shoot.
The end result was a lot better this time around … this doesn't mean that the previous shoot with Mariana wasn’t good, just that this was better executed.
