Fallen Angel - Take II … Changed to Glamour On Sofa (BTS)

This is our second attempt to get this shoot done. The first attempt had to be cancelled, please see blog entry for that day, but in a nutshell I miscalculated the timings and hence lost the needed sun, shade, etc.

This time, we were spot on, but another pickup cropped in, something we knew all along, the ambient temperature.

Being in May, midday temperature reaches a good 40˚C, too hot for anyone to be realistically under the sun for even a few minutes.

Sure enough, the model found it uncomfortable, as did my beloved gear, and myself too.

This time, I wasn’t going to cancel the day’s shoot, and decided to “improvise”. Not something I am comfortable doing, simply because of certain personal limitations I have.

So, replacement concept was to be “Glamour On Sofa”, with a single light and with Mariana posed on the sofa.

Sure enough, with the overly exaggerated hair and makeup, along with the Victoria’s Secret elegant black outfit, and Mariana’s ability to pose exceptionally well, I created dark lighting mood that compliments that whole ambiance.

Regrettably, I don’t always remember to take Behind The Scene (BTS) images of the photoshoot itself, and this was one of those days; that said, I did take some of Mariana and Lamis doing the makeup. Hence, images I post hereunder are some taken by my mobile off the laptop screen.
